TEAM NEWS
Bradley Garmston, Scott Wagstaff, Aaron Morris and Lee Martin remain on the sidelines for the Gills.

Edinburgh is likely to make changes for the clash at Roots Hall, with many of the squad having impressed in pre-season.

He said: “Tuesday should be interesting. It’s quite bizarre, really, to play Southend twice in a short space of time. I’m sure Phil [Brown, Southend manager] will make a few changes and so will we. We have to be cautious, and we will look to utilise the squad.

“We will digest and analyse the game [on Saturday], and hopefully find some weaknesses and opportunities we can work on.”

LAST TIME WE MET
You would only have to go back to Saturday for the last time the two clubs played each other.
