Important information for Gills supporters ahead of Tuesday night's EFL Cup fixture
Ahead of Tuesday evening's all-ticket EFL Cup second round game, Watford FC have provided us the following information to assist visiting supporters attending the match.
Stadium Entry
There are currently temporary turnstiles in operation at Vicarage Road and this may well cause delays on entering the stadium as a result. The turnstiles are in a different position to previous seasons and are now positioned further along the back of the Vicarage Road Stand. Turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick-off, and they advise fans to arrive no later than 30 minutes before kick-off to avoid any delays.
Supporter Meeting Point
The officially designated away fans' pub is The Oddfellows, 14 Fearnley Street, WD18 0RD.
Visiting Disabled Supporter Access
Disabled supporters should aim for the Vicarage Roadie Information Point, situated next to the Hornets Shop. Supporters should then approach Watford’s Vicarage Roadies match day meet and greet team, who are dressed in bright green jackets and will be stationed outside the stadium from 6.15pm onwards on the day.
The Roadies team will then escort supporters to the accessible entrance and on to the away seats. We advise that supporters using wheelchairs and their personal assistants arrive no later than 45 minutes before kick-off to avoid any delays, as entry is through another stand and may take some time.
Away Section Concourse
There will be no alcohol for sale inside the away section on match day, due to limited concourse space.
