On Friday, July 15, Gillingham Football Club invites all disabled supporters to a Disabled Supporters Association (DSA) meeting.
The informal coffee morning will begin at 10.30am and will be held at Priestfield Stadium in the MEMS Suite which can be accessed via the Business Reception. Refreshments will be on offer.
The DSA is being created to form a stronger bond in communication between the club and its disabled supporters. Through this the club will look at improvements through suggestions and be as prepared as we can be for future matches and disabled visitors.
The club is being assisted in the setup of all this by a registered charity called Level Playing Field (LPF) who has been instrumental in helping football clubs set up DSAs. LPF is working to remove the barriers that currently exclude disabled people. For more information about the charity click here.
