1,921 boisterous Gills fans made the trip over the river to Southend on Saturday to cheer on Justin Edinburgh's men.
Luke Norris' 53rd minute volley cancelled out Anthony Wordsworth's first half-strike and the match ended 1-1, but the manager believed that the away side deserved more than a point from the game.
The Gills were seated behind the goal, filling the North Stand and the away end erupted when Norris' effort hit the back of the net.
The travelling faithful were in full voice from before kick-off to leaving the ground and were praised by the manager.
We now have nine games left in the promotion push, and we hope that you will continue the support you have shown all season, both home and away.
