PCUK Ambassador and lifelong Gills Fan, David Annand, will be joining Sky Sports Presenter Jeff Stelling on the final leg of his Men United March to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
David has raised over £3,000 for Prostate Cancer UK and the Men United March taking place at the end of the month, but he is still aiming to raise more.
This March Jeff Stelling is walking 10 marathons in 10 days and will be joined by members of the football family as he sets of from Victoria Park, the home of his beloved Hartlepool United.
From the 21-30 March Jeff and the team will be taking in the sights and sounds of the English heartlands as they make their way to Wembley Stadium. On the 262 mile journey they will take in as many clubs as possible on route and invite fans across the country to represent their club and join together in the fight against prostate cancer, a disease that kills one man every hour and will affect 1 in 8 men in their lifetime.
As Jeff sets off for the final day from AFC Wimbledon, he will be joined by David, who will be representing his much-loved Gillingham FC. David will cover a total of 26.2 miles with Jeff as they make their way to Wembley Stadium via Brentford, Fulham, Chelsea and QPR.
Everyone at Gillingham Football Club is supporting David and we ask all Gills fans to show your support and make a donation to help more men survive prostate cancer at www.justgiving.com/dannand
