Weekly update of what has been happening at the club this week...
THIRTEEN NOT UNLUCKY FOR GILLS LADIES
Gills Ladies continued their run of home games in the FA Women’s Premier League and welcomed Lowestoft Town LFC to Chatham Town FC. The team produced a master class as they scored thirteen goals to secure a very convincing win and remain in third position in the league.
Gills Ladies opened the scoring early in the first half through Lauren Davis, followed by goals from Kallie Balfour, Lydia Wills and Madison North to lead 4-0 at half time. Gills Ladies continued their domination throughout the second half with a second goal for Lydia Wills, two goals each for Paige Baker-Carroll, Emma Tune and Shannon Redhouse. Kallie Balfour also completed her hat trick and the game finished 13-0 to Gills Ladies.
Gills Ladies next match is at home to MK Dons LFC in the FA Women’s Premier League on Sunday, March 27. We look forward to seeing our sponsors and supporters at Chatham Town FC on Sunday.
OPPORTUNITY TO BE MATCH DAY MASCOTS FOR GILLS LADIES
The Kent Girls and Ladies League have joined forces with Gills Ladies to offer all affiliated clubs within the Kent Girls and Ladies League a unique opportunity to be Gills Ladies match day mascots.
We have the pleasure of welcoming Grasshopper Girls as match day mascots for our home game against MK Dons LFC taking place on Sunday, March 27.

GIRLS CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE
Thank you to Margate U9s who played our U11s at the Centre this week, another fantastic experience for the girls.
GIRLS ACADEMY
The Girls Academy squad flew out to Barcelona this week to take part in the Copa Costa Brava II tournament taking place over the Easter weekend. The tournament is organised by club Futbol de Tordera and the team will face teams from all over the wORLD, good luck girls and we will let you know how they get on next week.
