Open evening taking place on Thursday, December 1
Looking for Post-16 options for September 2017? Why not find out more about our exciting Post-16 football pathway with the Marsh Academy!
The Marsh Football Academy’s Post-16 Open Evening will be held on Thursday, December 1 to give interested young people the chance to find out more about our successful football academy with the school.
The Football Academy offers a two year, full-time education and football development programme, delivered in partnership with Gillingham FC and other non-league football clubs. Students are coached daily by FA/UEFA qualified coaches, and play weekly in league fixtures in academy leagues.
Alongside playing the beautiful game, students also get the chance to study from a wide range of A-levels options and a BTEC Level 3 in sport, and they can also gain professional coaching qualifications too.
“The Academy aims to provide elite football coaching of a professional standard to young players with ambitions of progressing into senior clubs. This is delivered alongside a structured academic and vocational educational programme that meets students’ learning needs, making the Marsh Football Academy a truly educational football package.” Barry Cooper, Academy Head Coach
The Academy is open to talented footballers aged between 16 and 18 years. A playing trial will be required as places will be offered based on playing ability.
For more information, come along to the open evening on Thursday 1 December 2016, or contact Barry Cooper via bcooper@priestfield.com.
