TEAM NEWS

Gills manager Justin Edinburgh revealed he had been given some positive news on the injury front for Saturday’s game, when speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“There is some good news. We had Cody McDonald, Scott Wagstaff, Bradley Dack and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas back training on Friday, so we’re hopeful of getting them in the squad. That’ll be a massive boost,” said Edinburgh.

“We’ve received Frank Nouble’s international clearance, so he comes into contention. We didn’t pick up any injuries at Millwall, so things look healthier than they did going into the last couple of games.”

LAST TIME WE MET

The last time the teams met was at SportsDirect.com Park back in February, when Oldham ran out 2-1 winners.

The Gills went ahead through Doug Loft’s long-range effort, before Timothee Dieng and Jonathan Forte won it for the Latics on a rainy day in the north-west.

The teams have met 55 times in total, with the Gills winning 17, drawing 6 and losing 22.
