New £25 Family Tickets the latest initiative in the club's ongoing fan engagement programme
As part of our ongoing fan engagement initiative primarily aimed at attracting as many supporters as possible to live football matches, Gillingham Football Club can today announce the launch of a new £25 Family Ticket for home and away fans – the cheapest of its kind in the entire EFL.
This ticket, which will see fans situated in the Brian Moore Stand and will be available from our Northampton Town game on Saturday, November 12 (3pm kick-off), permits two adults and two under-18s into the MEMS Priestfield Stadium for what the club feels is an extremely affordable price.
“Community clubs like Gillingham are the heart and soul of football, the backbone of the English game,” said chairman Paul Scally. “We are delighted to announce our £25 Family Tickets, which form part of our ongoing fan engagement programmes, and we look forward to having a packed and atmospheric MEMS Priestfield Stadium for our home fixtures.
“The club’s education engagement programme started for last month’s home fixture against Coventry City, and we will continue to work with local schools, colleges and universities throughout the duration of the 2016/17 season and beyond. We have strong links with all youth football leagues across Kent, with a second major ticketing initiative scheduled to be announced in due course”.
Today's launch of the £25 Family Tickets, which are for the uncovered Brian Moore Stand and will not be available for our fixtures against Walsall (October 18), Charlton Athletic (October 22) and Millwall (April 8, 2017), follows the club’s promotional offers of Floodlight Football for a Fiver against Luton Town in the Checkatrade Trophy, reduced away ticket price initiatives for season ticket holders, Kids 4 A Quid offers and our new Category B-game deals already this season.
Individual match tickets for the Brian Moore Stand will also change to reflect our new £25 Family Tickets; adult tickets will now cost just £10, under-18s and concessions £5 (with the exception of the Walsall, Charlton Athletic and Millwall fixtures).
