Sky Sports to visit MEMS Priestfield Stadium in October.
Gillingham’s home Sky Bet League 1 match against Portsmouth, originally scheduled for Saturday October 7, has been pushed back by 24 hours for live television coverage on Sky Sports.
The fixture will now take place on Sunday October 8 (2.30pm).
The two clubs haven’t met since September 20, 2005 when Gills defeated Pompey 3-2 in the EFL Cup at MEMS Priestfield Stadium. Darren Byfield and Andrew Crofts scored for the hosts with keeper Jamie Ashdown netting an own goal.
