Midfielder heads to Sincil Bank on loan.
Midfielder Billy Knott has today joined National League leaders Lincoln City on loan until May.
The 24-year-old, whose only goal for the Gills was the winner in September’s 2-1 victory over Coventry City, will be available to play for the Imps up to and including the National League play-offs if required.
Knott was the Gills’ second signing ahead of the 2016/17 campaign; he has made 23 appearances for the club to date during his time in ME7.
"I think this will be a good move for Billy," said Gills head coach Ady Pennock. "He's obviously keen to play football, and I couldn't guarantee him a place in the starting XI here, so joining Lincoln is an opportunity for him to get games."
