TEAM NEWS
Gills head coach Ady Pennock said that the performance against Port Vale on Saturday wasn't good enough, and highlighted the importance of Tuesday evening's fixture.

"It is now four games unbeaten, but there is a massive game on Tuesday; it's huge," said Pennock. "If we don't turn up we will lose or draw, but we have to play and get the three points."

Pennock was pleased with both Josh Parker and Lee Martin's performance from the bench on Saturday, with both having not played a lot of football over the past months.

"Lee [Martin] did really well when he came on, and Josh [Parker] scoring that header will be a big boost for him," added Pennock. We only got international clearance late [on Friday night], so I am pleased for him. Let's hope it is the start of many [goals]."

There are no new injury concerns for the game.

THE OPPOSITION
Gary Caldwell's team sit in 23rd position in the Sky Bet League One table on 26 points.

The Spireites suffered their 18th league defeat of the season on Saturday, losing 3-1 to Northampton Town at Sixfields, a result that keeps them five points off safety.

Town were 3-0 up within 48 minutes of a scrappy match, with recent loan signing David Faupala scoring the consolation goal for Caldwell's side.

LAST TIME WE MET
The two sides last met in September when the Gills came back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 and take a point right at the death.

Two Jay Emmanuel-Thomas penalties and a 95th-minute equaliser from Scott Wagstaff meant the Gills went back to Kent with a share of the spoils.

The teams have met 69 times in total, with the Gills winning 30, drawing 16 and losing 23.
