The match will now take place at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Thursday March 29 with a kick-off time of 7.45pm.
This will allow the squad more time to prepare for their Easter Monday fixture which takes place against Southend United at Roots Hall on Monday April 2.
Last season the Gills beat MK Dons 1-0 at Priestfield courtesy of a Cody McDonald strike, but were beaten in the dying moments at stadium:mk when Dean Lewington was on target to seal a 3-2 victory.
