The Girls RTC celebrated another great season
The Gills Girls Regional Talent Club (RTC) teams held their End of Season celebration on Friday, April 28 to mark another fantastic season for the young female players.
The girls U10s, U12s, U14s and U16s have all had a great season this year, with both players and staff growing and developing, and a high level of quality seen across all teams. The U10s and U12s in particular did well during their first year playing in a boys’ league.
Throughout the season, the RTC has helped to raise the awareness of local talented female footballers, and provide opportunities for young aspiring players to hone their skills and gain experience playing in competitive fixtures. The players have also had some great opportunities during the season, including training with the Gillingham FC Ladies team.
Friday’s End of Season event was a chance for the teams to celebrate their great year, with food and fun games for the girls to take part in. It was also a chance to present the player awards for the season - well done to all of the RTC players for a fantastic season, we look forward to another great year in 2017-18!
If you’re interested in joining the Gills Regional Talent Club next season, you can sign up for our RTC Trials in June.
