GILLINGHAM V BURY
Sky Bet League 1
MEMS Priestfield Stadium
Saturday November 11
Kick-Off, 3pm
Team News:
Ben Nugent (foot), Alex Lacey (ankle) and Bradley Garmston (hamstring) remain missing for Steve Lovell’s side. Gabriel Zakuani is away on international duty with Congo so Luke O’Neill or Connor Ogilvie may move to centre-back.
Billy Bingham (foot) will be out for at least another couple of months but Conor Wilkinson should be fine after picking up a slight ankle problem on Tuesday.
As for Bury Eoghan O'Connell is likely to keep his place in defence, while Neil Danns, Rohan Ince and Callum Reilly could all feature.
Goalkeeper Leonardo Fasan should continue but midfield pair Craig Jones (groin) and Stephen Dawson (knee) both remain sidelined.
Manager Comments:
Steve Lovell - “Bury have a very good squad, they have some good pros that have come from higher clubs. It will be another tough game, they have quality in their team and we need to make sure that we match them and go beyond them.”
Previous Meetings:
The last time the two clubs met was on March 4 earlier this year at Gigg Lane when goals from Bradley Dack and Cody McDonald helped guide the Gills to a 2-1 win. James Vaughan pulled a goal back for the Shakers but the visitors held on for maximum points.
In total the teams have met on 54 occasions with Gillingham edging the head to head statistics with 23 wins to 21.
Odds:
Gills win – 17/10
Draw – 5/2
Bury win – 6/4
Special: Tom Eaves to score first in a 3-1 Gillingham victory – 60/1.
