Steve Lovell has been nominated for the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month award for October.
The Gills caretaker boss has won four of his six games since he took charge on October 12, including two impressive away wins against Peterborough and Rotherham while also earning a point against high-flying Wigan at Priestfield.
The other nominees are Paul Cook (Wigan), Karl Robinson (Charlton Athletic) and Richie Wellens (Oldham).
The winner will be announced at 6am on Friday morning.
Lovell has also overseen victories against Leyton Orient in the FA Cup and the 7-5 win over Reading U21 in the Checkatrade Trophy.
