MEMS Priestfield Stadium
Tuesday November 7
Kick-Off, 745.
Team News:
Steve Lovell is likely to rest several key players ahead of Reading’s trip to Kent.
Tom Eaves, Lee Martin, Jake Hessenthaler and Tomas Holy are all likely to be rested while Josh Parker may also be saved for Saturday’s match at home to Bury.
Ben Chapman, Finn O’Mara, Bradley Stevenson, Noel Mbo and Greg Cundle are all available for selection.
As for Reading they may choose to field Andy Rinomhota who started for the Royals in the Carabao Cup tie against the Gills in August. Otherwise the squad will contain members of the U23’s and Under 18’s players.
Manager Comments:
Steve Lovell – “It gives me an opportunity to play some of the fringe players who haven’t had that many minutes.
“We can get them out and give them a game on Tuesday to be in contention for next Saturday.
“We still want to win the game, we still want to prepare properly.”
Odds:
Gills win – 8/15
Draw – 100/30
Reading win – 9/4
Special: Gills to win 3-1 (correct score) – 10/1.
