Gills defender agrees loan extension.
Finn O’Mara has extended his loan spell with Folkestone Invicta until Saturday October 21.
The 18-year-old centre-back signed his first pro deal with the Gills in the summer and has, to date, featured seven times for Folkestone, who play in the Bostik Premier, and been victorious in every game, scoring one goal and helping to achieve a clean sheet.
Finn has yet to make his senior debut for the Gills but he featured heavily in pre-season and has impressed during his time out on loan.
On extending his deal he said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Folkestone. The manager, staff, players and supporters have been really welcoming so when the chance came up to extend the deal I was only too happy to sign and hopefully we can build on the fine form we are in.”
The defender’s deal expires following Folkestone’s match away at Leiston.
