Trio offered professional deals.
Gillingham FC is delighted to announce that three second year scholars have signed professional contracts.
Ryan Huckle, Jack Tucker and Henry Woods have all been handed one-year deals and signed their contracts in the presence of Chairman Paul Scally and manager Steve Lovell prior to Tuesday evening’s Kent Senior Cup game against Maidstone United.
Jack, 18, made his professional appearance in the live televised fixture against Portsmouth earlier this season before making his full debut against Reading in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Ryan, 17, has been a consistent performer in the club’s youth team, started the FA Youth Cup game against Portsmouth and was in the XI for Gills win against Phoenix Sports in the Kent Cup.
Henry, 18, also played against Portsmouth and has been a regular scorer for the youth team.
Steve Lovell said: “I’m absolutely delighted for all three of them. They have worked incredibly hard, have shown total dedication to the club and deserve their professional contracts.
“They, potentially, have qualities which will help us in the future and they are a credit to the club both on and off the field.”
