Former Gills midfielder agrees terms with League 2 side.
Lee Martin has signed for Exeter City ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Martin, 31, was released by Gillingham at the end of last season having made 56 appearances and scoring six goals since first joining the club in the summer of 2016.
The former Manchester United and Ipswich Town midfielder was the club’s captain last season and scored twice against Portsmouth in a 3-1 win at Fratton Park in March.
Exeter finished fourth in Sky Bet League 2 last season but lost 3-1 to Coventry City in the Play-Off Final at Wembley. Long serving manager Paul Tisdale then moved to MK Dons; he has been replaced by Matt Taylor.
We would like to thank Lee for his service while at Priestfield and we wish him well for the future.
