Five-star display from the Gills.
Brandon Hanlan scored twice as Gills recorded a comfortable 5-1 win over Tonbridge Angels on Saturday afternoon.
Franck Moussa, Callum Reilly and Noel Mbo were also on target.
Hanlan, who is one of the club’s new signings, opened the scoring on 18 minutes but it was after the break when the majority of the goals were scored.
Reilly decided to go it alone on 52 minutes, producing a decent finish to find the bottom corner before Hanlan registered a third not long afterwards.
Tonbridge pulled a goal back to give themselves a little bit of hope when Chris Read beat Tomas Holy following a slight defensive mix-up.
Mbo came off the bench and scored an excellent goal from 25 yards before Moussa, who is training with the club during pre-season, added a fifth from inside the penalty area.
