Gills clinch the signature of former Arsenal and Nottingham Forest youngster.
Gillingham have completed the signing of midfielder Josh Rees on a two-year deal.
The 24-year old former Arsenal and Nottingham Forest youngster signed his contract on Monday before completing his medical on Tuesday.
Rees was one of the country’s highest goal scoring midfielders last season and came on as a second half substitute for Bromley in the FA Trophy final against Brackley Town, a game which the Kent club lost on penalties.
Rees made his professional debut for Nottingham Forest in 2014 when he came on as a second half substitute against Brighton at the City ground.
Spells at Nuneaton and Torquay United followed before enjoying stints with both Braintree and Chelmsford. He signed for Bromley in July of 2017 where he enjoyed his most productive season to date.
Josh has also represented the England `C` side.
On completing the move to Priestfield Josh said: “I’m really pleased; once the manager showed interest I was set on coming here. It’s a good club with solid foundations in this league.
“I’m at a good age, I’ve worked hard to get back to where I wanted to be and this is a great club to be at.”
Manager Steve Lovell said: “Josh is a player I have had my eye on for some time now; he’s quick, confident in possession and is always looking to get forward.
“He played a pivotal part in Bromley’s successes last season, he was one of the highest scoring midfielders in the country and we are very much looking forward to working with him.”
