Contract extension agreed with Max Ehmer.
Max Ehmer has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract which will keep the central defender at MEMS Priestfield Stadium until the end of the 2019/2020 season.
The centre-back, who recently clocked up his 150th appearance for Gillingham, originally joined the club on loan from QPR in 2014 under the management of Peter Taylor but signed a three-year deal the following summer to keep him at Priestfield on a permanent basis.
During his time at the Kent club Ehmer has scored 12 goals, the most recent coming against Peterborough United when the defender clinched a point in the dying moments in an entertaining 1-1 draw.
On agreeing terms Max said: “I’m delighted to have signed my new deal; I’m enjoying my Football, the fans have been excellent and my focus now is to ensure we finish the season on a high.”
Manager Steve Lovell added: "I'm really pleased Max has signed; he's a true professional, he's had a good season and this is a reward for all the hard work he has put in."
