Gills to pay their respects prior to Fleetwood game

Please join us in showing our respects before kick-off on Saturday.

Both Gillingham and Fleetwood Town will conduct a minute’s applause prior to kick-off on Saturday in memory of the five people that lost their lives in last weekend’s tragic helicopter crash outside The King Power Stadium at Leicester City, including Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Members of the Royal Engineer Veterans will then take centre stage where the Last Post will be played, as part of our dedicated remembrance fixture, prior to a minute’s silence being observed.

We welcome supporters to join us in showing our respects.

The pre-match schedule will be as follows:

2:54pm :          Players come out
2:55pm :          Players and Officials go to centre-circle
2:56pm :          A minute’s applause for Leicester City FC crash victims
2:57pm :          Last Post is played
2:58pm :          One minute silence to be observed to remember our fallen heroes
2:59pm :          Royal Engineer Veterans will walk off the field, behind the advertising boards then down the tunnel
3:00pm :          Kick-Off

We thank you in advance for observing the applause and silence with respect.
