Vacancy | Teacher

The GFC School is looking to appoint a new teacher.

If you are an inspired, energetic and positive person who wants to make a difference to the lives of young people, then this is the job for you.

Some of the work will include working in the school’s Pupil Referral Unit whereby applicants must demonstrate skills in understanding the needs of students who have found it challenging to work in mainstream education, especially developing students’ self-esteem, together with their skills in reading, writing, english and mathematics, and in addition to working with the Clubs YT’s, Apprentices and Girls Academy delivering respective educational packages.

  • Particular wider subject expertise would be an advantage, as the school is seeking to enrich students’ learning, so that they experience a broad and exciting curriculum as The GFC School develops and expands.

  • In all parts of the school, you will need to have a passionate desire to help students to achieve their very best in their academic, social, physical and wider development.

  • In addition to meeting teachers’ standards, applicants must have a well-developed knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and experience of working in partnership with external agencies.
