Fuller staying put at Priestfield.
Barry Fuller has signed a new one-year deal which will see him remain at Priestfield until the summer of 2020.
The 34-year-old re-joined the Gills last summer after spending four-and-a-half years in Kent earlier in his career, making 151 appearances in the process. He captained the side to League Two play-off final glory following a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town at Wembley in 2009.
This season the defender has made 38 appearances and scored one goal, that coming in the 3-3 draw against Doncaster at the Keepmoat last October.
On signing his new deal he said: “I am over the moon to be staying at the club for another year; I’m really pleased to have contributed to the successes of the team this season and I’m already looking forward to the next campaign.
“However, the focus now is to finish the season as strongly as possible and the team are very determined to achieve a top half finish.”
Steve Lovell added: "Barry has been one of our most consistent performers this season and I am really pleased he will be staying with us for another 12 months."
Prior to returning to Gills, Fuller spent five years at AFC Wimbledon, making 233 appearaces.
A full interview with Barry will appear on iFollow in the next few days.
