Gills can announce that Josh Rees has left the club and returned to Bromley.
Josh Rees has this morning left the Gills after the club, along with the player, agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old, who signed for Gillingham in the summer of 2018 on a two-year-deal, made 23 appearances in total and scored two goals, one of those being the winner against Burton Albion in a 3-2 victory at the Pirelli Stadium in January.
Rees rejoined Bromley on Friday afternoon, having arrived at ME7 from Hayes Lane.
Manager Steve Evans said: "Josh is a great kid and will be a real asset to any club at Conference National level. We all wish him every success.
"He has been unlucky here given our options and what we are trying to do."
Everyone at Gillingham FC would like to thank Josh for his services and we wish him well for the future.
