Voting has begun on social media...
The club is asking supporters to choose, what they perceive to be, Gillingham Football Club’s `Goal of the Decade.`
After looking at endless video footage, the team behind the scenes have brought together 16 goals, which will be divided into four groups. Supporters will then have a period of time to select their favourite from each group, with the top two advancing to the last eight.
Any goal scored on, or after, January 1 2010, qualifies to be in the competition.
We will eventually whittle down the candidates to two, with the winner to be decided before the end of the calendar year.
Admittedly some excellent goals didn’t quite make it, however there is certainly enough top strikes to select from!
Twitter is the only place you can vote from. Email and Facebook votes will not be added to the final score.
We will update the below link on a daily basis so the poll is easy to find!
