Prizes up for grabs as Gillingham Football Club proudly supports upcoming event to help raise funds for frontline NHS workers.
Gillingham Football Club is proud to announce that it will be supporting National Superhero Day on Tuesday April 28 in an effort to help raise funds for frontline NHS staff, and all key healthcare workers.
With the regular yearly run having been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the decision has been taken to run the event from the comforts of people’s homes, where members of the public can dress up in anything superhero “themed” and send in their images or videos for use across social media.
All proceeds raised will go straight to frontline healthcare workers.
And, in an attempt to help promote this fantastic cause, the Football Club is offering two prizes for the best superhero themed images, or videos, sent on the day of the event to @TheGillsFC.
A first-team Football and 125-year anniversary shirt, both of which signed by the entire Gills first-team squad and management team, will be sent to the competition winner when the club reopens for business.
The Football Club has joined a number of other businesses across Kent, and London, to show their backing for the event which will enable people to be “superheroes for a day” and have the power to help others who need our support more than ever.
