Gills to play Colchester behind closed doors this weekend.
The Gills squad will kick-off their pre-season schedule this coming Saturday (August 15) at the JobServe Community Stadium against Colchester United.
Steve Evans and his squad will make the short trip to Essex for a 1.30pm kick-off.
The fixture will of course be played behind closed doors with no supporters allowed at the JobServe Community Stadium.
This will enable a number of players to get minutes under their belts with the new season just a few weeks away.
Although fans will not be able to attend, we will be providing live text updates and match reports from both fixtures. We will also be uploading photographs throughout the afternoon to our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages.
