Arsenal join Group B in the EFL Trophy.
Gillingham have been drawn in Group B of the southern section of the EFL Trophy alongside Crawley Town, Arsenal and Ipswich.
Crawley and Ipswich were confirmed as two of Gills opponents on Monday, but Arsenal have now joined the group after the invited clubs were part of a draw on TalkSport2.
The Gills were eliminated in the group stage last season, losing to Ipswich 4-0 at Portman Road and Colchester 3-2 before beating Tottenham U21’s 2-0 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
Dates for each individual fixture will be released on completion of the draw.
