Gills Carabao Cup tie against Southend will now kick-off at 1pm.
The kick-off time for Gillingham’s Carabao Cup first round tie against Southend United has been changed.
The match will now get underway at 1pm on Saturday September 5 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
The fixture was originally scheduled for a 3pm start, however both clubs have agreed to bring the time forwards.
Gills play Crawley Town at Priestfield just three days later in the EFL Trophy before welcoming Hull City to Kent on September 12 (3pm) for the club’s first league fixture of the new season.
