Everybody at Gillingham Football Club was devastated earlier this week to learn that long-term supporter, Pam Tyler, has passed away at the age of 86.
Pam, who used to work in the club megastore, visited Priestfield for the first time in 1943 and was a regular both home and away for over half a century. She often attended games with her best friend, Pam Humphreys (jointly known as the two Pam’s!) and was a regular on the supporters’ coach for away fixtures.
She was an incredibly popular member of the Gills family (pictured below, left) and was always one of the first to take her seat in the Gordon Road Stand. She will be greatly missed by everybody.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Pam’s family, friends and loved ones at this very difficult time.
RIP.
