Olly Lee back at Hearts following Gills spell.
Manager Steve Evans has confirmed that Olly Lee has returned to parent club, Heart of Midlothian, following his loan spell at Gillingham.
The midfielder initially joined the club for a second time in August on a deal until January, which was later extended until May.
On his debut he scored twice against Bolton in a 5-0 win, and went on to make a further 33 appearances. In total he scored six goals, the last of which coming in a 2-0 triumph over Shrewsbury Town at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in January.
The Gaffer said: “Olly has been a superb loan signing.
“He was on loan until last Sunday with permission for the play-offs, until the end of May, in the event we finished in the top six.
“With no sign of Football starting again in May it was decided he would return to Hearts now.
“We all wish him the very best of luck, a top professional and great lad.”
