Steve Evans answers a few questions ahead of Gills trip to Ipswich.
Q: Games are coming thick and fast now and we head to Ipswich on Tuesday. Are you expecting our toughest test of the season so far?
A1: We have had, and continue to have, a very difficult run of games at the start of this season.
It gets no easier tonight away at Ipswich Town who are expected by many to win automatic promotion.
They have an outstanding squad of players and we will need to be at our very best to return to Kent with something to show for our efforts.
Q: They are a different team this season, but so are we in the main. What type of game are you anticipating?
A2: It will be very tough. We have a very young team and they are full of experienced players with vast Premier League experience in their squad.
Q: Connor Ogilvie will sit out due to suspension and Tom O'Connor came off injured on Saturday. Another reshuffle of the pack needed?
A3: Injuries and suspensions are hard on you at times, but they are part of the game.
What we will have is other young players desperate for a chance. It is unlikely we will fill the substitutes bench given the numbers not available for selection.
Q: Will you simply ask for a repeat of Saturday's performance but drive home that any chances need to be pounced on?
A4: Football is all about goals and as a Manager you know you must score when your team is on top and creating good chances.
We had control and created good chances in our games against Portsmouth and Fleetwood, but our failure to take them has seen us punished.
We need the same level of performance and perhaps get a little bit of luck, the reality is we have had none of that in this early part of the season.
The lads are looking forward to tonight, it’s a fantastic place to play football so let’s embrace the challenge.
