The Gillingham manager has written a tribute to his former player, Lee Collins, who has passed away.
Steve Evans has paid tribute to Lee Collins, his former Captain at Mansfield Town, who has tragically passed away at the age of 32.
Yeovil Town, his current club, announced the news on Thursday afternoon.
On learning of the news, Steve said: "Lee was a man of many great values who leaves us far too soon. "I had a great relationship with him and valued him as a player, a man and a friend.
"He was a top professional and my thoughts, prayers and condolences are with his young family, along with his friends and loved ones at this very difficult time."
The thoughts of everyone at MEMS Priestfield Stadium are with Lee's family, friends, loved ones, and all connected at Yeovil Town at this very sad time.
