Gillingham Football Club is proud to be supporting Schools' Football Week, an important initiative to highlight the importance of the game in our schools.
Schools’ Football Week is an ESFA (English Schools Football Association) initiative designed not only to highlight the huge scale of Schools’ Football in England, but also as an opportunity for schools, teams and clubs from across the country to showcase the talent of their pupils, dedication of their teachers, staff, coaches and the benefits that playing schools’ football brings not only to their school, but to them as people.
The GFC School will be taking part in a number of activities during the week at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, and you can follow their goings on via @GFCSchool.
The main focus of the initiative is to provide an opportunity for children to get outside, have fun and enjoy being able to play sport with their school friends, competitively or otherwise.
