Members of playing and management staff visit Medway Maritime for annual Hospital visit.
Earlier this week members of Gills playing and management staff visited the children's ward at the Medway Maritime Hospital to spread some festive cheer.
The club was unable to perform its usual visits in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 restrictions, but with these now lifted personnel were able to make a long awaited trip, with mascots Tommy and Tammy also on hand to give out goodie bags and a selection of presents to the children and their families.
Manager Neil Harris, Assistant Manager David Livermore and Captain, Stuart O'Keefe, were among those in attendance. Representatives were at the Hospital for over an hour, visiting different rooms and having photographs taken with children, families and staff alike before departing.
We would like to thank all of the staff at the Hospital for allowing us to pay a visit, and we look forward to doing so again in the near future.
