New signing Tom Nichols unavailable for Sutton clash, but Gills could welcome back Jordan Green and Olly Lee for the trip to Gander Green Lane.
Sutton United v Gillingham
Sky Bet League Two
Gander Green Lane
Thursday December 29th
Kick-Off, 7.45pm
Team News:
Lewis Walker will miss the game through injury after being on the end of a red card challenge in the FA Cup win against Dagenham & Redbridge. Ben Reeves will miss the game too with a knee injury picked up in the Boxing Day defeat to Colchester.
Tom Nichols will not be eligible for the game after signing for the club on Wednesday. Jordan Green and Olly Lee could return. Joe Gbode is also available for selection.
Donovan Wilson is a doubt for Sutton ahead of the game on Thursday night, with Matt Gray’s side needing to wait and see if he is available. The Sutton boss cold make changes after their tough win at Crawley on Boxing Day.
Manager Comments:
Matt Gray - “It was important for us to start this busy run of fixtures with a win [against Crawley].
“We have got to take advantage of two home games now before we look to do something in the January window.”
Neil Harris - “I will pick the bravest team that I can to make sure the lads that I put out on the pitch will have a go.
“Against Sutton you have to stand up and be counted and compete and we have to make sure we come out on the right side of those tight calls.”
Previous Meetings:
Thursday will be Gillingham’s first trip to Gander Green Lane. The sides met in the league earlier in the season, where Gills came out on top thanks to a late Alex MacDonald header.

Tickets for the fixture will be available to purchase on the day of the game, but there will be a £2 price increase if you purchase at Gander Green Lane in person. The increase does not apply if you buy via the website.
