On-loan midfielder returns to parent club following spell at Priestfield.
Daniel Adshead has returned to parent club, Norwich City, following his loan spell at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
The 20-year-old joined the Gills in August and played 19 games for the club in total, making his final appearance at home to Portsmouth in November. He was substituted due to, what proved to be, a broken metatarsal, and with the player unlikely to be available for selection in the short term, the decision has been taken to allow the player to return to Carrow Road to receive full-time treatment.
Adshead began his professional career with Rochdale but joined the Canaries in the summer of 2019 for an undisclosed fee.
