A home pre-season friendly against League 1 opposition has been confirmed.
Gillingham will welcome Portsmouth to MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Saturday July 16, with kick-off now scheduled for 1pm.
Kick-off had originally been scheduled for 3pm, but both clubs have agreed to bring the time forwards.
Danny Cowley's Pompey side finished 10th in Sky Bet League 1 last season, ten points shy of the play-off positions. They won 1-0 at Priestfield during the season with a late own goal depriving Gills of a point.
They won the reverse fixture at Fratton Park 3-1 in April.

Season ticket seats will not be reserved for this game, all seats are on general sale.
The Medway Stand and the Rainham End are both open for the fixture, with away fans situated in Gordon Road.
