Neil Harris has been nominated for Manager of the Month.
Gills boss Neil Harris has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for February.
Harris, who took over at the club on transfer deadline day, racked up 11 points from a possible 21 during the month, the highlight of the performances coming up at Lincoln where goals from Vadaine Oliver and Ben Thompson secured a 2-0 win at Sincil Bank.
The nominees are as follows:
Neil Harris (Gillingham)
When Harris took over at the start of February, Gillingham had conceded 24 goals in their previous eight games. His impact has been immediate with four clean sheets and 11 points from seven matches to revive the Kent club’s survival hopes.
Liam Manning (MK Dons)
The solidity Manning has built into his team continues to bolster their pursuit of automatic promotion from League One. The Dons let in just three goals in six unbeaten games as they collected another 14 points towards their aim.
Darren Moore (Sheffield Wednesday)
The first half of Wednesday’s season was blighted by late opposition equalisers. Moore’s men took that out of the equation in February, winning five of their six games - four of them by a two-goal margin - to move into the play-off picture.
Paul Warne (Rotherham United)
Rotating his side when necessary because of their hectic schedule, Warne guided the League One leaders to 19 points from a possible 21, winning ugly at difficult moments, but still scoring 13 and conceding just a single goal in seven games.
ALL WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY 11 MARCH 2021
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
