Correct attitude is required for cup replay, says Gills manager.
Neil Harris is calling on his players to shake off their recent run of league form as focus returns again to FA Cup action.
The Gills boss is hoping that a good cup run, starting with victory against AFC Fylde on Tuesday, will lift morale around ME7 and act as a catalyst in their Sky Bet League Two campaign.
The Gills played out a 1-1 stalemate at Mill Farm with the National League North outfit on November 5th and it is still very much all to play for. Both sides will be desperate to have the oportunity to mix it with the big boys in the FA Cup third round, and Harris is calling on his men to stay professional and make their quality count.
"It's a must win game," admitted Harris. "Let's be honest we are playing a team two leagues below us. We have to be as professional as we were in the first game but better with the ball.
"We have to keep working and keep trying to be better in the final third and get some support in January, when we get a chance to rebuild.
"We saw with ourselves at Brentford how tough you can make it for an opponent from a higher division. Fylde made it tough for us up there when we played away.
"We were 90th in the football league and we won at Brentford. Brentford have then gone and played Manchester City, the best team in the world, and beat them. That's what cup football is all about.
"We know it is going to be a tough fixture. Fylde will come and have a right go at us and enjoy the occasion.
"For us, it's a winnable fixture. I expect us to be professional. We need to make sure we have the right mentality and win."
