Gills welcome league leaders Stevenage to ME7 on Saturday.
GILLINGHAM V STEVENAGE
Sky Bet League 2
MEMS Priestfield Stadium
Saturday October 15
Kick-Off, 3pm
Team News:
Stuart O'Keefe, Ben Reeves, Olly Lee and David Tutonda are all likely to sit out for the visit of Stevenage with various injuries. Haji Mnoga was cup-tied on Tuesday but is available for selection if required.
Will Wright, Max Ehmer and Elkan Baggott will compete for places in the centre of defence.
As for Stevenage, Steve Evans has all members of his squad available except for Elliott List who will be out for a period of time on the sidelines. Luke Norris will return to MEMS Priestfield Stadium, having spent two seasons at ME7 earlier in his career.
Manager Comments:
Neil Harris - “We have had a relatively settled team last three games, maybe we have to think about a change to try and combat Stevenage’s strengths but we also have to look at what we do and where we have been getting better as well."
Steve Evans - "Sometimes when you put a new group together it takes a bit of time but I look at the quality of player like Mika Mandron, Stuart O’Keefe, Alex MacDonald, Ben Reeves, Max Ehmer, Elkan Baggott, I could keep going with the players they have got and I have nothing but respect for the boys that Neil has got there.
“Neil is a top manager, a Championship manager plying his trade in League 2.”
