Conor Masterson didn't train on Thursday as the club continued to monitor concussion protocols following his withdrawal at Sixfields, and a decision will be made about his availability on Friday. Lewis Page is pushing for a starting place having come on against Northampton.

Manager Comments:

Neil Harris - "Stockport have momentum from the last couple of years. At the top end of the pitch they have goal scoring ability.

"They can play through you, they can play around you and they can go direct.

“I want to get to 50 points, that is the next challenge."

Dave Challinor - "Our away form is in pretty good shape, we go there on the back of a good weekend, and they're pivotally important games with lots at stake."

Previous Meetings:

When Gillingham travelled to Stockport in March, Neil Harris’ side came away with a well-deserved point. County dominated the game and put constant pressure on the Gillingham penalty area, but the Gills stood firm and continued to deny their hosts through great defending and a couple of excellent Glenn Morris saves.

Stockport’s last visit to Priestfield came in October 2010, and the Gills were victorious. Cody McDonald opened the scoring after three minutes as his diving header from a corner flew into the back of the net.

Jack Payne doubled Gillingham’s advantage in the 37th minute. McDonald saw his initial attempt saved by Matty Glennon, but Payne was on hand to convert the rebound, scoring his first professional goal. Anthony Pulis pulled a goal back for the visitors with nine minutes remaining, but it proved to only be a consolation as the Gills hung on for all three points.
