Will Wright has signed for Crawley Town.
The club can confirm that Will Wright has signed for Crawley Town on a permanent basis.
The 26-year-old signed for the Gills last summer and scored twice in 46 appearances in all competitions, one of those goals coming from the penalty spot in a 3-3 draw against Swindon at the County Ground in late January.
Will began his career in the youth ranks at Luton prior to loan spells at non-league clubs including Hitchin Town.
He made his full debut while on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge in August 2018, a game which Boreham Wood won by a goal to nil at Meadow Park. He went on to Captain the Daggers, netting seven times in 140 appearances.
Having signed for Crawley, he could make his debut in this Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 fixture against Bradford City at the Broadfield Stadium.
The club would like to place on record its thanks for Will's service and we wish him well for the future.
