GFC School deliver range of items to Gillingham Street Angels in time for Christmas

Our team at the GFC School have been hard at work in the local community ahead of Christmas.

Students and staff at The GFC School, and at the Football Club, made it their Christmas mission to make a difference in the community over the festive period.

The school collected a range of different items including soft toys, board games, clothes and books which were then delivered to Gillingham Street Angels along with a cash donation. The items will now be wrapped and handed out by Santa Claus to local children.

Street Angels, who were founded in 2018, offer help and support to homeless and vulnerable people of all ages in the Medway Towns and surrounding areas and supply food, clothing, bedding, access to washing facilities and advice to those who need it.

Students were given a fascinating tour of the Street Angels premises and were able to ask questions to the incredible volunteers who make such a big difference to the lives of many.

Well done to everyone involved!
