An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sports Science & Medicine team at Gillingham Football Club. We are looking to recruit a First-Team Physiotherapist to work alongside the Head of Sports Medicine and take responsibility for the First Team squad.
The successful applicant will be required to work as part of the Sports Science & Medicine team to continue to develop the department in line with the club’s philosophy. Reporting directly to the Head of Sports Medicine and the First-Team manager, the post holder will be working closely with the existing members of the medical and sports science teams to provide an integrated medical and sports science support system.
The sport science and medicine department is continually striving to develop best practice, link in with local universities to conduct specific applied research and as such, we are seeking a committed, enthusiastic individual with the desire to develop their experience of working in a professional team sports environment. Previous experience working within a first-team environment within a football club is not essential but is highly desirable.
