Lewis Walker has joined National League side Woking on a short-term loan deal until January 2024.
After featuring in the Gillingham ‘B’ Team fixture against Dartford at Priestfield earlier this week, where he notched two assists, Lewis Walker has agreed a short-term loan to Vanarama National League side, Woking.
Lewis began his career with Ilkeston, before signing for Derby County in 2016.
Following a loan to National League North side Darlington, the forward would go on to sign for Queens Park Rangers in 2019, where he made his professional first-team debut as a substitute in a 4-0 league win against Swansea in a EFL Championship fixture.
A loan spell with Aldershot, and a two-year period in Italy playing for Como and Athletic Carpi respectively followed. Lewis then signed with Gillingham in July 2022 where he has made 27 first-team appearances to date in all competitions, scoring four times.
Woking reached the National League Play-Offs last season for the first time in the club’s history, finishing in fourth position. The Surrey club currently sit ninth in the table and travel to AFC Fylde this weekend for their next league fixture, where Lewis will be eligible to feature.
We wish Lewis all the best.
