Gills defender previews Saturday's game at Mansfield.
The play-off door might be closing on the Gills as the games tick by, but wing-back Romeao Hutton insists that the Kent side still have ambitions of sneaking into the party.
It would require two impressive Gills results and other scorelines going in their favour, but Hutton insists that nobody at ME7 has any intention of giving up the fight.
"We need to take care of business," said the ambitious playmaker, ahead of this weekend's fixture with Mansfield.
"We need to take care of our job first and foremost.
"We want to keep winning and hopefully push for those playoffs. We can't look at other results, we need to focus on our next game which is Mansfield.
"We want to beat Mansfield and just hope those other results go our way. We will be disappointed if we don't make the play-offs, we have dropped points that we shouldn't have, but now we just need to put all our effort into Mansfield.
"We don't want to be in this league; we are not a team that should be in this league. Our ambitions are clear and we are all buying into it.
"It's frustrating to be just outside of the play-offs, but we just have to stick to it."
